IIT Madras School Connect Program

IIT Madras Centre for Outreach and Digital Education (CODE) has launched short 8-week programs across various disciplines to introduce students to diverse fields of study. These programs will offer a unique opportunity to explore different career paths and gain practical insights into their future academic journeys. Students of Grades X, XI and XII can be a part of an exclusive initiative that provides students with hands-on career experience.

Highlights:

• Career Exploration – Short-term certification programs (8 weeks) designed to expose students to various career paths and help them make informed decisions
• Trusted by CBSE- CBSE has issued a circular supporting the initiative.
• Affordable Learning – Certification courses available for just ₹500 per course.
• Certificate of Participation/ Completion will be provided by IIT Madras CODE.

6. Fun with Math and Computing
7. Math Unplugged: Games & Puzzles
8. Humanities Unplugged
9. Introduction to Ecology
10. The Fundamentals of Aerospace
11. Introduction to Chemical Engineering
12. Economics, Finance, and Money Matters

Syllabus: IITM Short courses syllabus

Students should apply to only one of the courses offered at a time.

Program details:

• Recorded lecture videos will be released every Monday; the content will be for a duration of 1-hour, which students can watch any time throughout the week
• Live interactive sessions on Saturdays at 5pm IST
• Online assignments – Total 4 assignments – once in 2 weeks with 2-week timeline for submission.
• 8 weeks of this schedule will be administered from January 5, 2026.

Mode of delivery:

• The learning content will be provided weekly as pre-recorded videos. As these are recorded videos, students can watch them anytime, anywhere.
• Access to the learning content will be given to the registered email id.
• Assignments can be solved and submitted online, within the prescribed deadlines
