Reflect on the friendships and connections formed at DPS Dubai and their significance in shaping your school experience and personal growth.

“Students are disciplined by their schools but molded by the relationships made along the way”. DPS Dubai has not only been crucial in my academics, but also a stepping stone towards my personal growth via the quality connections and friendships that I made in my journey through school.

Studying in the CBSE curriculum, one can always expect academics to be challenging and mentally taxing, especially in Grades 11 and 12. As a student of DPS since Grade 5, I relied on the advice I received from my teachers and the company of my friends to go with the flow and maneuver my way through high school. Being a student of Ms. Beena in Grade 5, I learnt to be persistent and resilient with my studies early on in my schooling experience. I was taught to be optimistic, hardworking and caring by Ms. Rose Nimmi and Ms. Mahaalakshmi. Suhayib Sir’s lectures were always a blend of focused topics and light-hearted conversations, teaching me to be a well-balanced individual.

The echo-system created by school is merit-oriented and focused on building children’s mental strength and resilience. These are key traits for any person to be successful in life. This is where friendships play a crucial role. All my friends have been dear to me and supported me during my lows.

Last but not the least, the connections with my parents were big moral strengths. They believed in the process and not the results. They had full faith in the process adopted by DPS and were confident that it would bring home the desired results.

All these garlands of wonderful connections have played a huge role in building the person I am today. DPS always believed in bringing the best version of the student and I can tell that is exactly what I got from DPS, for which I am ever grateful.
